A woman had her brakes fail Thursday a little after 2:00 p.m. while she was driving in the 900 block of Starlite Place.

Joanna Galli was driving south when she applied her brakes and realized they didn’t work. She then applied her emergency brake which also failed to stop her vehicle and she crashed into an embankment.

Mechanics from Caveman Towing determined the brakes had failed.

Galli was not injured in the accident.
