V.A. Selects New White City Director from Kansas
The V.A. has announced the director of Heartland Surgical Specialty Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas has been selected to replace Max McIntosh as director of their White City facility.
Dan Burman will assume the helm of the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinic on February 11th.
Burman, an Air Force veteran, has been director of Heartland since May of 2009 and while expanding its services by acquiring one spine and orthopedic practice, one primary care practice and one ambulatory surgery center, he also reduced operating expenses by fifteen percent.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University in Texas and a Master’s in health administration from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
The White City facility is the V.A.’s only free standing rehabilitation center. The 450 bed facility serves as a regional and national resource and has outreach clinics in Grants Pass and Lakeview.
