Cavemen Clash with Panthers Tonight
The Grants Pass Cavemen, currently in a three way tie for second in the southwest football conference, clash with the South Medford Panthers tonight at Speigelberg Stadium in Medford.
The Panthers, highly regarded in the pre-season find themselves in fifth place, a game behind Grants Pass with three games left in the regular season. A Caveman win tonight would likely assure them at least a 4th place finish in conference while a Panther win would put South Medford and Grants Pass into a tie for that 4th position.
Fourth place is an automatic qualifier into the state tournament. The game will be broadcast on KLDR 98.3 F.M. with the pre game at 6:30 and the kickoff at 7:00.
In other action North Medford is at Crater; Sheldon is at Roseburg; and South Eugene Plays at Thurston.
In the Skyline Hidden Valley travels to Mazama while North Valley will be playing at Henley.
Other valley action has the I.V. Cougars hosting Lakeview and Rogue River traveling to Lost River.
