Feds Remain Mum on Pot Raid
Thursday we reported the execution of a Drug Enforcement Agency raid on marijuana gardens in the 800 block of Left Fork Humbug Creek Road in the Applegate Valley on Wednesday but very few details were available.
Thursday afternoon at 4:31 we received a press release from the Department of Justice on federal search warrants that had been executed. This is the entire release:
“On the morning of October 10, 2012, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration served search warrants at four locations in Southern Oregon as part of an investigation into the illegal manufacture and distribution of marijuana. Due to the ongoing nature of this investigation, there will be no further comment at this time.”
According to neighbors about 300 marijuana plants were seized.
