Little Butte Creek Fouled by Sewage Spill
A Rogue Valley Sewer Services pump station failed Monday, spilling about 20,000 gallons of raw sewage into the Little Butte Creek at 101 Old Highway 62 in Eagle Point. The sewage flowed for about an hour creating a potential public health risk there.

Limited Schedule for County Buses on Tuesday
Most Josephine County offices will return to a business usual schedule Tuesday with the exception of Community Transit. Many area thoroughfares remain, if not ice covered, still have significant patches of ice still making travel hazardous.

Walden’s Medford Office Flooded by Broken Water Main
U.S. Rep Greg Walden’s Medford office was temporarily closed today after a water main broke due to cold temperatures in southern Oregon. The burst pipe partially flooded the office, and water and heat have been turned off for the entire building.

MADGE & ICE Raid Results in Arrest & the Seizure of Almost 6 lbs. of Meth
The serving of a search warrant Friday morning resulted in the arrest of Manuel Gastelum-Ferro, 35, the seizure of 5.91 pounds of methamphetamine and over $17,000.

School District No. 7 Board reviews charter school application
The Grants Pass School District No. 7 Board during their meeting Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in the district’s administration building at 725 N.E. Dean Drive will review a proposition for the district to support the Inn Sight Alternative High School as a charter school.
