Medford Teachers Strike; Schools Closed; Athletic Schedule Okayed.
The Medford Education Association officially went on strike this morning at 6:00 a.m. The Medford School district cancelled school today and Friday and possibly Monday. Its expected school with be back in session Tuesday with either fill in teachers, all Oregon Certified, or with the regular teachers should an agreement be reached.

Wanted Felon Captured After Pursuit of Stolen Camaro
Early this morning police captured a felon wanted on drug and weapons charges while recovering a stolen Camaro. Police received a tip that the felon was parked in the 1900 block of Regina Way and observed the stolen vehicle parked in the street.
