Trooper Log for 9/25/14
Thursday at 5:49 p.m. Mark Alonzo Woosley, 47, of Albany, lost control of his green Volkswagen Jetta at milepost 77 in the southbound lanes of Interstate-5 and slid off the freeway. No injury was reported and there was no damage to state property. The Jetta had to be towed.

Easley Sentenced to Life
Donald Lee Easley was sentenced to life in prison with parole possible after 25 years this afternoon by Judge Pat Wolke. Easley was found guilty of murder last Thursday in the shooting death of Laron Estes on September 7th of 2013.

Happy Camp Complex firefighters focus on maintaining roadways
Firefighters at the Happy Camp Complex of Fires aren’t manning the fire lines today but instead they are making sure roadways from recent heavy rains are still open to allow firefighters access to areas still burning within the complex.
