I-5 Traffic Stop North of Medford Yields Almost 4 Pounds of Meth
A State Trooper made a traffic stop between Medford and Grants Pass Sunday morning at 1:23 on a 2014 Acura for speeding and found 3.8 pounds of methamphetamine in the vehicle’s truck.

Medford Shoot-Out Suspect Jailed after Hospital Release
Wayne Pearson, 29, the suspect who suffered gunshot wounds in a police shoot out Thursday afternoon in Medford, was released from the Hospital on Friday and lodged in the Jackson County Jail on the arrest warrants out of Idaho.

A Medford man, 43-year-old Michael Skaggs, was located safe and healthy at around 2:00 a.m. Monday morning in the 700 block of East Main Street and was returned to his residence.

Dangerous Dog Discussion Continues Tuesday at Medford PAC Study Session.
The Medford Police Advisory Committee will meet Tuesday evening at 5:00 at City Hall in room 330 to continue to discuss the ordinance options for dangerous dogs. The meeting is open to the public but is not open for public comment. The meeting is slated as a study session.

Mt. Ashland Contemplates Season Ticket Options
The Board and staff of Mt. Ashland are considering options for season ticket holders that have had no skiing this winter. The Ski Area, suffering through a winter with the least amount of snow since 1963, still has not been able to open.
