Woman Bicyclist in Intensive Care after Colliding with a Deer
A 62-year-old woman is in the Rogue Regional Medical Center’s intensive care unit in Medford after sustaining head injuries after colliding with a deer while riding her bicycle
Garage Destroyed by Fire on Northeast 12th; Fire Spread Into Wildland.
Friday night at 9:21, 911 dispatchers received a report of a garage on fire at 949 NE 12th Street Grants Pass, Oregon. Grants Pass Fire Rescue and Grants Pass Police units were dispatched to the scene. Within minutes, a police officer arrived to find a detached garage fully involved and a vehicle partially involved. Flames were threatening the house located nearby.

City of Grants Pass Weekly Update
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety made 58 arrests and issued 56 citations in the past week. There were 1,261 calls to 911 and 620 calls for service.
Classic Car Show Today; Cruise Tonight

Back to the 50’s Street Closures
The “Back to the 50’s” car cruise will take place on 6th and 7th Streets Saturday night, forcing traffic to be detoured at 6th and “A” Streets. Northbound traffic on 7th Street will be closed at “M” Street to “A” Street. The street closure will start at 6:00 pm and the route will be closed until 9:30 pm. Drivers are encouraged to utilize the Parkway Bridge and 4th Street for access south of the river
