Lorna Byrne Middle School, located at 102 Junction Ave. in Cave Junction, was evacuated at 11:37 a.m. Monday after graffiti discovered on a bathroom wall indicated the school might be threatened by a bomb.

Medford P.D. Responds to Armed Woman
A Monday night call to Medford dispatch came from a woman saying she was armed and needs help. The woman, 27-year old Mary Aguilar, was found walking on the sidewalk near West 2nd in Medford carrying a .22 caliber handgun.
