Commissioner’s Pass Jail Order in Rare Thursday Vote
Josephine County Commissioners, in a rare Thursday vote that was given public notice yesterday, passed order number 2012-041, authorizing the county jail capacity to not exceed 99 inmates, an increase of 39 from the previous cap of 60 detainees.

Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested
Anthony Gilbert Rodriguez, 18 years old and listed as a transient, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at 1860 Highland Avenue on an attempted murder charge along with assault 2, felon in possession of a firearm and two failure to appear warrants.
