6-Car Crash Closes Medford Street; Two Hospitalized
A Driver apparently suffered a medical problem Saturday afternoon and caused a six car collision that closed Central Avenue in downtown Medford for nearly two hours.
Medford police speculate the driver suffered a health problem that caused him to collide with four moving cars and two park cars on Central Avenue about noon.
The block between Fifth and Sixth streets was closed with emergency personnel extricated at lease one of the victims and transported two to the Rogue Valley Medical Center. The police have not released the names of those involved but only the driver and his passenger were taken to the hospital.
