Rogue Valley Violence Extends into Thanksgiving
Three shots were fired into a Talent home where a child was sleeping Thanksgiving morning as violent incidents continue in the Rogue Valley.
Police arrested Aaron Daniel Adrian Merlina, 28, of Talent on numerous felonies including attempted murder.
The incident began as a fight between Merlina and the couple living in the 100 block of First Street. Merlina and another person showed up on their doorstep at 6:45 a.m., argued through a closed door. Then Merlina allegedly fired a shot through the door and two more through a window.
The girl was struck by the glass but otherwise uninjured.
Merlina is lodged in the Jackson County Jail
