RADE Arrests 33
Josephine County’s Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team, known as RADE, opened 39 investigations from July through September accorded to the team’s statistics.
Those investigations led to the arrest of 33 people with additional arrests expected.
During that 3 month period RADE officers seized more than four pounds of methamphetamine, forty pounds of processed marijuana, more than an ounce of heroin and smaller amounts of ecstasy and cocaine, thirteen firearms, and 655 marijuana plants at illegal grow operations.
The RADE investigations did include several individuals associated with the Oregon Medical Marijuana program who were allegedly distributing the drug to people other than their patients.
