G.P. Police Bust 5 for Drugs & Vehicle Theft
Grants Pass Detectives arrested five people following an investigation into unlawful drug activity and discovered several stolen vehicles.
Information led detectives to 415 Mina Lane and while conducting surveillance they saw a Yamaha side by side ATV that was stolen Tuesday.
A search warrant was served on the property and one person ran and was not located. Nine people were detained with five being arrested.
Police recovered the Yamaha and a Polaris Razr ATV also stolen Tuesday and a Toyota Tundra stolen Wednesday. All were returned to their owners.
Arrested was Ann Margaret Hadwen, 23, of Canyonville for unlawful possession of a restricted weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm and a felony drug warrant from Douglas County. Alexandria Elaine Alberts, 21, of Grants Pass was charged with unlawful possession of heroin and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Tyler Christopher Bacon, 22, of Grants Pass was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of heroin. 19-year-old Anthony Giovanni DeMarco, a transient faces possession of methamphetamine and probation violation charges. Kenneth Allen Dinet, 43, of Grants Pass is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The Mina Lane address is in the county, but the initial crimes occurred in the city and city police are committed to fully investigating all crimes that occur within the city limits.
