Woman cited for DUII for causing single-vehicle injury crash on Redwood Highway
An adult female is facing a charge of DUII for crashing her pickup at approximately 4:39 p.m. Wednesday on Redwood Highway near milepost 23.
The Oregon State Police responded and they say the woman drove her truck off the highway and struck a tree. The Illinois Valley Fire District extricated her from the vehicle and she was then transported by Mercy Flights air ambulance to Rogue Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Trooper’s investigation at the scene led to the DUII charge.
The female driver was identified late this morning as 51-year-old Rose Sallee of Grants Pass.
