Two Hundred Firefighters & Six Dozers Battle 200 Acre Reeves Creek Fire.
Approximately 200 firefighters and six bulldozers are working through the night to build fireline around the 120-acre Reeves Creek Fire, located south of Selma on Reeves Creek Rd. The fire is 20 percent contained.
Reeves Creek Rd is closed but Hwy 199 is open.
A structural protection task force is protecting homes along Reeves Creek Rd. The task force is made up of units from most of the fire protection agencies in the Rogue Valley.
No evacuation order has been given but residents should have a plan in place should the order be given. Some residents have evacuated their livestock.
