OSP search for man wanted for Cave Junction homicide
The Oregon State Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a Josephine County resident who is wanted for murder in connection with a 2013 homicide in Cave Junction.
Authorities are searching for 44-year-old Daniel Joseph Martinson in connection with the death of 39-year-old Aaron Lee Clouser. Last Nov. 5, authorities responded to reports of a man lying on the ground in the 200 block of W. Millie Street in Cave Junction. The deceased man was later determined to be Clouser and his death was determined to be a homicide. The cause of death is pending release by the Josephine County District Attorney’s Office.
Martinson is described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 155 pounds. Authorities believe he may have shaved his head and facial hair. He is also missing a front tooth and has a tattoo on his back of a pit bull with the word “Outlaw” underneath. Martinson is known to frequent Cave Junction, Selma and Kerby.
Martinson should be considered armed and dangerous and those contacting him should call 911 or the OSP Southern Command Center dispatch at 541-664-4600.
