Trust Funds allow Jackson County Library to Offer Computer Courses
The Kenneth A. and Lucille D. Hulburt Family Trust left $2.5 million to the Jackson County Library Services and the interest from the trust this year amounts to $124,617 which will provide materials and programs for computer courses this year.

The funds have allowed the library to provide free adult basic computer courses to nearly 8,200 adults and patron technical support services, including hands-on demonstrations and training in electronic media.

The funds also support the summer reading program, Family Literacy Day, and Booktalk, which introduces new books to middle school students.
