Josephine Community Libraries have large budget gap to fill by year’s end
Josephine Community Libraries are in need of $47,000 to meet the organization’s budgetary goals by the end of December.
Libraries Executive Director Kate Lasky says, “With more and more people signing up for library cards, we need to bring in enough donations to offset the cost of services.”
Individual and family donations are the single largest source of income for the libraries and library volunteers and staff are asking community members to make a tax deductible donation by Dec. 31.
Tax deductible donations begin at $25 and anyone interested in donating can securely donate online at josephinelibrary.org or in person at the Grants Pass, Wolf Creek, Illinois Valley or Williams branches.
