Two Controlled Burns Planned for Cave Junction Area Today
The Oregon Department of Forestry has two controlled burns planned today in the Cave Junction area.

80 acres are scheduled to be torched six miles south of Cave Junction in an area south of Rough and Ready Lumber near O’Brien.

The second burn, in the McKloske sale, is 79 acres in size and located nine miles southeast of Cave Junction a handful of miles west of the Oregon Caves.

Persons in those areas may expect to see smoke and increased traffic from fire control personnel.
