Injuries from Broadside Crash at Demaray Drive Intersection Injures Two, One seriously
A Broadside crash this morning around 8:45 sent two Grants Pass Girls to the hospital, one with serious injuries.
The two girls were in a Nissan Sentra and, according to witnesses, pulled in front of a large pickup being driven by Erin Bradbury, who was going home with her 8-month old son riding in a safety seat. They were both unhurt.
The two girls in the Sentra had to be extricated from the wreckage and both were transported to the hospital.
The driver of the Sentra, reportedly 17-year-old Sarah Kostrna, a student at New Hope, was immediately taken to Rogue Regional Medical Center and then flown to Portland.
According to family members she remains unconscious but stable with six broken ribs, a collapsed lung, internal bleeding and head trauma.
Family friends tell us the passenger was treated and released with a minor injury.
