A Cave Junction woman called dispatch to report that her 14-year-old niece had been kidnapped. Troopers responded and were unable to locate the camper or anyone else in the area.

A vehicle lost control on the wet pavement at Robertson Bridge Road and Hawksdale Drive and rolled several times. The driver, 26-year-old Christina Derenzo, was transported by ambulance to Three Rivers Medical Center.

A vehicle lost control on the I-5 milepost 58 northbound onramp. The vehicle spun out and jumped the curb which tore off the right-rear wheel and flattened the right-front tire.

25-year-old Justin Brian Taylor was arrested at Laurel Road and Redwood Highway after a police pursuit on his motorcycle. Troopers noticed Taylor was driving erratically and began pursuit and they managed to arrest him after he crashed his bike. Taylor is also the suspect in a theft case in Grants Pass and he was lodged in jail on multiple charges including felony eluding.
