Commissioners extend lease with Galice Community Association
The Josephine County Commissioners during their Wednesday business session voted unanimously to extend a lease with the Galice Community Association for the Galice Community Hall for an extension of five years at a rate of $1 per year.
As part of the deal, the association provides maintenance for the property. Additionally, the association is also required to offer the building as a community center and a location for social, business and educational events.
Nearly $35,000 was also paid to Options for work already completed on the Crisis Resolution Center and Ramsey Place. The funds for the project were already allocated into reserve accounts several years ago and had no impact on the general fund.
Lastly, Michael Snider, Paul Wilson, Harry Mackin and Robert Chalupa were appointed to the Board of Property Tax Appeals.
