SBA Loans Available to Small Businesses Impacted by Fires
The Small Business Administration is offering low interest working capital federal disaster loans to small businesses economically impacted by the Douglas, Big Windy, Labrador, Whiskey and Brimstone fires that began July 26th.
The SBA acted under its own authority to declare a disaster following a request from Governor Kitzhaber on September 3rd.
The declaration makes assistance available in Josephine and Deschutes counties and most neighboring counties. Eligibility is based on the financial impact of the disaster only and not on any actual property damage.
Business owners may contact the Small Business Development Center at 214 Southwest 4th Street in Grants Pass or call 541-956-7494.
