County Commissioners approve resolution regarding Grants Pass Urban Growth Boundary procedures
The Josephine County Commissioners during their Wednesday Business Session today approved unanimously a resolution amending the County Coordinated Population Forecast and having a concurrence with the Grants Pass City Council in regards to procedures and planning for the cityís Urban Growth Boundary.

Lady Cavers Defeated Gresham in Playoffs
The Lady Cavers opened the first round of the 6A softball playoffs yesterday by defeating Gresham 9 to 1. The Lady Cavers now advance to host their second playoff game against Thurstonís Lady Colts at 4:00 Wednesday afternoon.

District 7 Board Okays Summer Meal Program; Free Breakfasts to Continue Next School Year
The District 7 School Board, at its Tuesday meeting, had nothing but praise for its Food Service department after hearing it had met all the requisites for the Healthy Kids Act of 2010 and finding there were enough credits to warrant no price increase for students next year and the free breakfast program will continue.
