Composite Sketch of Minute Market Robber Released by Medford P.D
January 20th the Minute Market on West Jackson in Medford was robbed by a man alleging he was carrying gun. Investigators discovered witnesses in the parking lot prior to the robbery saw the suspect without the mask he wore during the holdup and today the Medford P.D. released an artistís composite sketch.

Alder Creek Fire North of Shady Cove
A fire broke out yesterday around 2:00pm up Elk Creek Road outside of Shady Cove. The fire is located 16 miles northeast of Shady Cove, about 15 miles up Elk Creek Road. Currently the fire is estimated at 125 acres in size.

The United States Geological Survey reports a small 3.8 magnitude earthquake hit 35 miles northwest of Grants Pass in the area of Agness at roughly 5:53 a.m. today.

Second Suspect Believed Involved with Deceased Burglar
Oregon State Police believe at least a second person was involved in the burglary at 2245 Harbeck Road Tuesday morning in which suspected burglar Jasen Robert Lewis died after scuffling with an employee and his father about 7:00 a.m. as the son was arriving for work.

Heroin, Meth, Pot & Firearms Seized; 4 Arrested in Local Bust
Four local residents have been arrested and jailed plus over two pounds of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, eight firearms, stolen property and other evidence was seized when the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team served search warrants at adjacent Grants Pass properties including a residence at 2955 Cloverlawn Drive and a 5th wheel travel trailer at 2989 Cloverlawn.
