Commissioners Approve Opposition of Caves Monument Expansion; Senate Bill 401 Creating Scenic Sections of the Rogue & Defend Rotary Meeting Appearance
The light agenda for County Commissioners Wednesday Business Session was expanded by two under the Other category. First was resolution 2013-017 expressing opposition to the Expansion by over 4,000 acres the Oregon Caves National Monument. The resolution was approved unanimously. Commissioner Hare will deliver that resolution to The Congressional Delegation in Washington tomorrow and Friday.

February 1st Raid on Williams Residence Just Released by RADE/MADGE
A raid was conducted on a Panther Gulch residence in Williams February 1st according to a press release posted yesterday by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement, RADE, and the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement, known as MADGE.

Central Point Woman Faces 10 Counts of Aggravated Theft
Jodi Lynn Setzer, 42, of Central Point, was arrested for identity theft and tampering with drug records last July for writing false prescriptions for pain killers while working for Dr. Carmeci. Setzer and her attorney met with Medford Detectives yesterday and was arrested and jailed on ten counts of aggravated theft for allegedly embezzling more than a quarter million dollars from three employers.
