OSP Tuesday incidents
A trooper attempted to stop a vehicle at the intersection of N. Junction Avenue and E. Lister Street in Cave Junction. The vehicle, a white Mitsubishi, eluded a short distance and eventually came to a stop in a residential driveway. The driver, 30-year-old Jeremy James Sorenson, was taken into custody without incident on a charge of driving while suspended. A charge of felony eluding has been referred to the district attorney’s office.

Jackson County Sheriff Searches for Knifepoint Robber
The jackson County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for Christopher P. Devine, 37, of Medford, who is suspected of robbing a 69-year-old man at knifepoint in the Bear Creek Greenway at mid-morning today.
RVTD to Ask Jackson County Voters to Okay Property Tax Levy
The Rogue Valley Transportation District will ask Jackson County voters to approve a five year levy of 13 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value. That is in addition to the 17.72 cents per thousand currently being charged home owners.
Monday Trooper Incidents
Monday morning at 10:52 a driver on I-5 reported another northbound vehicle at milepost 39 struck a construction barrel that flew into her windshield.

A woman was transported to the hospital from the 100 block of Terry Lane because she was too intoxicated to care for herself. Officers found her lying in a parking lot in her underwear.
