Two Suspects Arrested after Standoff at Kimís Restaurant
Two men have been arrested after they crashed their vehicle into Kimís Restaurant in Medford about 4 a.m. Friday morning. Police were familiar of the owner of the vehicle and knew he had previously been armed.
Thursday Public Safety incidents
Rodney Nelson and Sebrina Decker were found laying unconscious with needles in their arms at the volleyball court in Reinhart Volunteer Park. Both were arrested on charges of possession of heroin and Decker was additionally charged with possession of meth.

Fire crews from three different agencies held a grass fire located between Crater Lake Ford and Interstate Five to about four acres Thursday afternoon.

Red Flag Warning continues; no reports of fires in Josephine County
A Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service continues until 6:00 p.m. today and the potential for extreme fire activity is present.
Red Flag Warning for Tonight and Friday
Another, bigger Red Flag Warning has been issued this afternoon for a large chunk of southwest Oregon. Thunderstorms are expected to start rattling across Jackson and Josephine counties tonight, and are expected to extend north into Douglas County, west into Coos and Curry counties, and east-northeast into Klamath and Lake counties.
