Oregon State Trooperís Incident Log
Sunday morning at about 10:49 a Trooper stopped a Honda Civic that was dragging a large piece of its front bumper on the road. The driver, Ian McLaren, 27, of Williams, stated he heard a noise but didnít know what it was. Dispatch advised McLaren was driving while suspended and was wanted for a probation violation out of Linn County. He was cited and released plus his Honda was towed.
Motorcyclist dies in crash near Gold Hill
A motorcyclist died in a crash near Gold Hill on Highway 234 near milepost nine at approximately 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
Domestic Incident Saturday leads to Crash and Power Outage
Around 5:15pm Saturday, Officers from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety responded to a domestic disturbance near Gilbert Creek Park. As officers were en-route the incident became mobile.

Latest Medford Fires may add to Arson Total
Since June 25th, 14 fires in the Medford area have been ruled arsons. Three more fires extinguished Saturday were determined to be human caused and will likely up the arson total to 17.

Grass fire south of Medford determined to be human caused
A grass fire south of Medford near the intersection of Dark Hollow Road and Surrey Drive Friday afternoon was human caused according to investigators.

The fire danger level is now extreme and restrictions on the Rogue River Wild and Scenic Section have tightened
The fire danger level rose to extreme today in the Oregon Department of Forestryís Southwest District and additional restrictions have been placed on the use of power equipment and on travelers in the Rogue River Wild and Scenic Section.

The Oregon Department of Forestry has announced the fire danger level will rise to extreme on Saturday.
Assault at Baker Park partially severs the victimís ear
An assault at Baker Park at approximately 8:00 p.m. Thursday left the victim with a partially severed left ear and a stab wound to the head.
