Talent-Ashland-Phoenix Pipeline Construction Underway
The project to extend the water line from Talent to Ashland for potential emergency use late this summer is underway. The on-the-ground work at the Ashland segment began June 3rd and they have put almost 5,000 feet of pipe in the ground in a week. The entire pipeline and pump station is expected to be complete by mid-August.

Suspect vehicle crashes into another vehicle during a police chase in Cave Junction
A suspect vehicle that was involved in a police chase with the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office and the Oregon State Police crashed into another vehicle in Cave Junction Thursday.
On Wednesday at 7:55 p.m. the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 12,000 block of Modoc Road, in White City, for a report of an elderly man trapped underneath a vehicle.
