Concerts in the Park Kicks Off Tuesday Night
The Matt Hill Band will kick off a new season of Concerts in the Park at 6:30 Tuesday evening in Riverside Park. The band won the Britt Battle of the Bands last summer and opened for Martina McBride. Their music has been compared to Crosby and Stills and Ray Charles.

Josephine County Employment Increasing
Josephine County total payroll employment rose by 500 in May. The goods-producing industries of construction and manufacturing added 60 and 70 jobs, respectively. Retail trade gained 50 jobs over the month, 40 of those in food and beverage stores. Health care and social assistance, as well as other services gained 20 jobs in May.
