Fatal accident involving a motorcycle and SUV occurs southwest of Grants Pass-Names Released
A fatal two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Demaray Drive and Hubbard Lane southwest of Grants Pass.

According to the Oregon State Police incident log Matthew James Fournier, 42, of Rogue River was arrested for a parole violation on Highland Avenue at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Commissioners accept Victims of Crime Act grant
The Josephine County Commissioners during their Weekly Business Session voted unanimously to accept the 2014 Victims of Crime Act competitive grant.
Gas Main Replacement to Close One Lane of Drury Lane
One lane of Drury Lane will be closed from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for six to eight weeks beginning tomorrow. A gas main is being replaced.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through.
