7-11 kidnapper sentenced to 118 months prison time
The man who stole a car parked in the 6th Street 7-11 parking lot in Grants Pass that contained two children in the early morning hours in May, 2013, was sentenced today by Judge Pat Wolke to 118 months in prison.
No Burning Allowed in Spite of Recent Rain
Rain across the Southwest Oregon District Wednesday brought a few puffs of smoke as some people lit burn piles, which attracted fire engines from ODF and the rural fire districts. Construction investment in Medford is up 31 percent over the last fiscal year. According to figures released by the Medford Building Department the value of all construction projects this fiscal year is $395 million, compared to $302 million last year.
