Medford Police Bust 3 for 2 Burglaries in Sparta Building
Three men have been arrested in connection with two burglaries in the Sparta Building where $1,700 in cash and merchandise was stolen from Acme Computers on May 20th, and on May 27th when Acme Computers was again entered along with Aaxis Commerce and just over $5,000 in merchandise was taken.
Beaten Child Sex Abuser Sentenced to 6+ Years
Mark Alexander Tabor, 24, pleaded guilty to sex abuse charges yesterday in Jackson County Circuit Court and was sentenced to six years and three months in prison with ten years of post-prison supervision to follow.

Hicks, Baertschiger Announce Joint Town Hall in Cave Junction

School Board Okays Summer Meal Program & Expanded Internet Access for Students.
The District 7 School Board approved the summer food service program and expanded internet access for students next year.
The summer meal program will run from June 17th through August 23rd serving an estimated 25,000 meals.
Both Arrested After Resident Shoots at Intruder
Medford Police cited Cory Thompson, 36, of Table Rock Road after he fired an AR-15 rifle at Jonathon Kinsella, 40, a wanted felon who ran into Thompson’s back yard and tried to climb a fence to avoid being seen by officers who were on the scene.

Police arrest suspects after shots fired in Medford
Police made two arrests, after they say shots were fired late Sunday night in a North Medford apartment complex on Table Rock Road. Cory Tompson confronted Jonathon Kinsella, and fired a shot into the parking lot. Officials say Kinsella ran to police, who were in the area, responding to an unrelated report.
