Wolke Sentences Crow to 40 Days with 5 Years Probation
Judge Pat Wolke sentenced Kandi Crow to 40 days in jail and 5 years probation stemming from her animal hoarding incident. She faced 22 counts of animal neglect two, 17 counts of animal abuse two, and 5 counts of prohibited possession of domestic animals.

More Parking at City Hall
Tuesday eleven new parking spaces were designated for citizens doing business at city hall. Those spaces are located in the parking lot off 5th Street on the south side of city hall. City vehicles will now be parked in the employee lot on A Street.

Police Identify Second Forgery Suspect
Last Saturday Medford Police were notified two men had left a bag of cash in a Medford motel. Officers arrived to find $3,000 in counterfeit currency and while they were on scene the two returned, ran to a second motel and ultimately ran to the Alba baseball fields.

Timber Companies Sue Forest Service & B.L.M. over Logging Halt
Three timber companies, in conjunction with the American Forest Resources Council, filed suit in U.S. District Court in Medford against the U.S. Forest Service and B.L.M arguing the government has no authority under timber sale contracts to force loggers to stop working.

Details Released on Serious Collision that Hospitalized Two
The Medford Police Department has released additional details on that serious accident at Riverside and Stewart Avenues on Monday night that left one man in critical condition at OHSU in Portland and a 73-year-old man in serious condition at Rogue Regional Medical Center.
