Harley Stolen/Recovered & Other Incidents from Public Safety Log
A 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from 851 Milbank Road along with 8 tires. Two heavy locks were cut to achieve the theft. The motorcycle and two of the tires were recovered in the bushes outside the “M” Street Market.

Northbound Tractor/Trailer Crash at Exit 58 Off Ramp
A tractor trailer crash may be delaying traffic at the northbound I-5 exit 58 at the north end of Grants Pass. The crash occurred early this morning and crews expect to be working on clearing the trailer until mid-afternoon.

Man Jailed for Firing Shots & Police Log Entries
Grants Pass Police responded to a report of shots fired at 6:41 Tuesday evening at 1509 southwest “I” street and arrested Richard Benson, 67, on outstanding warrants and unlawful use of a weapon.

Southern Oregon Human Bean Locations Raise $48,000+ for Breast Cancer Causes
Last Friday Josephine, Jackson, and Klamath county Human Bean locations alone raised $48,848.75 to be donated to breast cancer causes. The proceeds from beverage and pastry sales were donated to Three Rivers Women’s Imaging, Providence Medford Medical Center, Rogue Valley Women’s Imaging and Sky Lakes Medical Center.

No Smoking at Transit Shelters and Bus Stops
There is no smoking allowed at the Josephine County Transit Shelters and at the transit bus stops. The county commissioners unanimously passed the policy at the weekly business Wednesday morning in the Anne Basker Auditorium with Commission Chair Simon Hare pointing out it is merely an extension of county policy at every county venue. Signs will be posted soon.
