The Grants Pass Caveman Football team posted a perfect season with the win last Friday and drew the #3 seed in the state playoffs. Grants Pass will host Barlow this Friday night with the kickoff scheduled at 7:00.
Three Grants Pass Men Charged with Theft II & Criminal Mischief Plus Other Trooper Weekend Incidents.
Sunday night at about 11:23 a State Trooper stopped a Ford F-150 pickup for a traffic violation and ended up citing three Grants Pass men for theft II and Criminal mischief II, plus the Ford was impounded.

Planned controlled burns by the Oregon Department of Forestry in Josephine County today are located six miles east of Cave Junction off Robinson Corner Road and three miles southeast of Cave Junction in the Holland Loop area. A total of two acres are being burned
Sunday Public Safety incidents
A Toyota pickup with an attached camper was set on fire by a lit cigarette left on a mattress in the camper in the 900 block of S.E. 6th Street. Authorities believe the fire was set by transients who got into the vehicle to sleep.
