9th Street Railroad Crossing Closure
Motorists utilizing 9th Street railroad crossing between “F” Street and “G” Street should plan an alternate route Thursday and Friday. Railroad crews will be closing the crossing to rebuild the road surface at the tracks. Concrete panels will be installed to provide a smoother driving surface.

A special downtown economic improvement district for downtown Medford proposed by the Heart of Medford Association was thwarted by downtown property owners. About 120 property owners said no to the idea that would have marketed and beautified the city’s downtown core.

District Seven School Board Meets Tuesday at Noon
The Grants Pass School Board will consider the State report card on District 7 Schools received last week. The report showed no district schools in the top ten percent statewide, but many with a rating of four that is just out of the top ten and some with a three.
