HOME MADE SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE

 

1-15 1/4 OUNCE CAN OF PINEAPPLE CHUNKS

1/4 CUP KETCHUP

1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR

1/4 CUP VINEGAR

1 1/2 tsp. CORN STARCH

2-3 CLOVES OF GARLIC-minced OR 1 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC OR ½ tsp. GARLIC POWDER

1/4 tsp. MUSTARD POWDER

1 Tbs. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

1/2 tsp. GROUND GINGER

 

1-Drain juice from pineapple chunks.  Reserve pineapple.

2-Mix together all ingredients (except pineapple chunks) and cook over medium heat until thickened.

3-Add pineapple to mixture and mix well.

ENJOY!!

Great as dipping sauce or over chicken or pork.
