Beef Broccoli

 

1-2 Tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup flour

1 cup beef broth

2 Tablespoons white sugar

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

1 pound boneless round steak or other steak, sliced thin

1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger root

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups chopped broccoli

 

1-In a small bowl, combine flour , broth, sugar and soy sauce and stir until combined.

2-In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil and add meat. Cook for 3-4 minutes.

3-Stir in broth mixture, ginger, garlic and broccoli.

4-Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5-10 minutes or until sauce thickens.

 

Serve with steamed rice.
