ALL PURPOSE DRY RUB FOR MEAT
4 Tablespoons of white sugar 4 Tablespoons salt 1 Tablespoon paprika 2 Tablespoons mustard powder 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 pinch dried oregano 1 pinch dried thyme
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. To use, coat meat in mixture and grill as desired. Note: This is my favorite dry rub for chicken or ribs. When I grill, I use the indirect method and often times add some hickory or alder chips for a mouthwatering smoky flavor that rivals some of the best barbeque I’ve tasted.
