I was born in Missouri - moved to Cave Junction, OR in 1955.  Grew up there - attended Illinois Valley High School.  Graduated in 1965.

Lived in Medford 'til I moved to Southern California where I spent 20 years down there in different locations and jobs.  Lived in Las Vegas for 2 years.

Moved back to Oregon in 1995.  Started working for KAJO/KLDR in February 1998.  

My main passion is Nascar Racing - grew up with my Dad working as a mechanic on my uncle's race car here locally.  Then when I lived in California - went to the Riverside Road Course every time there was a race and the Pomona Drag Races every year.  My favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt, Jr.  Started following his dad Dale, Sr. - then moved to Jr. when his Dad passed on.  So now I go to any Nascar race that I can attend - been to Fontana, Phoenix, Sonoma and Atlanta.  Hope to make the rest sometime in the next few years.
